I Like Scryypy's design of the magazine, looks really realistic like a real mag, with ads at the bottom.

Okay, here we go. These are my opinions on all, my decision is at the bottom.

Scryypy - It's clean, it's neat. The text doesn't obscure the image. Easy to read, and the combination of hot chick + two guys (who I guess women would find attractive?) will draw readers in like a magnet.

Hamstu - It's cute, it's neat, but that green/blank space at the top-right stands out like a sore thumb. Overall good, but again, dislike the green space.

noobstar - The image is too dark. Not hard to see, but it doesn't catch the eye. "VOTE AND WIN!!!" does catch the eye, but is too central. Same with the date/price .. It sticks out sorely in the middle of the barcode, which itself is too large.

slayer - DQ'd as far as I'm concerned (should've read the rules), but for the cover anyway .. The issue/price is a bit too close to the edge, and the image of vin disel is of an obviously different quality then the other images, causing more of a clash than anything else. The popcorn seems tossed in there on a whim, and I think an image would have sufficed better for a background than the blue-ish-gray with grid

Stevie - Hot chick +1. Font -5. Though the title font is overused (in general) and cliche, my problem lies in the rest of it. The slogan font clashes with the title and simply doesn't fit in. The article text is simply too large, and while it does a suitable job covering up the blank space to the left of her head, could've been done much more attractively with a smaller size.

Natomui (2nd entry, first ignored) - Slanted text can be good. It draws more attention than straight text, and thus works well for something you really want the reader to notice. But you overused it. Yes it lines up with the image, but it's simply a pain in the neck to read. I liked everything else however.

Sekkusu - It's different bud. I dislike the year and 'CD-RMO INCLUDED' positioning, but it's funny none-the-less.

ketsu_no_ana - Some of the text is a bit difficult to read, but I actually like it as a whole (that scares me, to be honest). The Viper image/text is crowded in there, seemingly last-minute, and black-and-white just doesn't mix with color well. Still though, there's something about it.

Tool - It's very blank. And lime green? Normally I would suggest a cat scan ... The title font's shadow seems a bit messy.

justbr0dy - Again, hot chick +1. Should be 'going to blow Play Boy' .. Nice though. Very nice.

Briony - The car is sexy, even if it looks like an el camino (I know, it's a Ute, don't flame me). Hell, it has a kangaroo, that's like +1 right there. It's clean, it looks good .. though it looks like Adrenalin is already trademarked .. /shrug

xerodark - She's sexy XD. It looks nice and pro, it's clean. Likey.

Right on then, anyway, my votes:

Hey, thanks guys, for giving me a chance at the battle. I like keeping my design skills on their toes. What's great is, I was asked to do a magazine in school the dimensions you asked for were nearly the same. There were definitely some noteworthy contestants. Again, thanks for the opportunity.
