Illustrator to fieworks
is there a way to export a illustrator 10 file so that when importing into fireworks 2004 the vectors are intact and doent turn into a bitmap?
ive tried everything i can think of.. anybody have any suggestions

Try exporting the file as an .eps.

What version of illustrator are you using? I know that adobe has mentioned that illustrator cs can make flash movies so it may be compatible it

im using illustrator 10 (mentioned above..) i have tried everything possible in the export window.. nothing seems to import properly to fireworks

When you open an Illustrator file in fireworks, it'll pop up a box telling you that you have to save your Illustrator files as version 8. You didn't see this box? What version of Fireworks you using?

mx 2004.. come to think of it i remember that was how i did it in mx. i rarely use illustrator so im kind of rusty with it
