Help!! designing large display eps graphic for the first time:: including photos

Hi all, this is my first post at this forum.

Could anyone provide any tips or links to tutorials for my particular problem??

O.K here it is..... I have been asked to design some graphics panels for the side of a rather large truck. The printers want the graphics provided to be in illustrator eps format at full size.

I have been asked to provide graphics which will include photographs and some design elements. as these displays are huge I will need to interpolate the photos..(i have the software to do so).

what i don't understand is how to incorporate images and graphical elements within illustrator and get good results... this is the first time I have used the eps format in such a way.

Are there particular things I need to be aware of when using photos with design elements. any tips to help this first time nervous designer to run this project smoothly... is there anything i need to get right or check with the printers???

hope you can help,
all the best, Carlito
