Problem about PSP8

Hello, I am in badly need of help, because my beloved PSP8 is acting up and I have no idea why. Maybe someone in here had the same or a similar problem and can therefore give me advice for a possible solution? When I am adding text with the letter tool, the marching ants are elongated and slow and it doesn't let me use the floodfill tool as well. Any ideas would be highly appreciated!

Which version are you using? The first release of PSP8 is quite buggy and so are all the other ones before 8.10.

It is the PSP 8 8.10 version. I have no idea how to solve this problem and I dearly miss using my favorite programme. I tried JASC customer service, but no good. Of course I have tried uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling, rebooting, but with the same result and problem.

I'm not sure about this specific problem (I'm still on v7, can't get used to but maybe a registry reset could solve your problem:

If that still doesn't work try using the forums at www.pspug.org - some of those people are experts in solving these weird bugs.
