illustrator bug

for somer reason my illustartor is not working.. sudenly i dont know what hapened, it stoped working.. i then inserted the cd, and "repair" it.. and it gets stucked reading the fonts (i only have the normal windows fonts) anyways..
illustrator just stop responding as soon as i open it..
then.. i uninstalled illustrator and the install it again.. and still the same bug.... how the hell can i fix it! i really need to do some inkin to some new scanned drawings.. :confused:

There's a file called AIPrefs (if I'm not wrong) under the Adobe shared program files. When you uninstall Illustrator this file doesn't get deleted and it is the most common one to give problems. All you have to do is delete it and run Illustrator and a new file will be created.

STUPID PROGRAAAM!!:. its soooo making me sooo ****ing depresed... one of the things i do i cant do them anymore..
i uninstalled.. did what malephica said and still.. wen it reads the fonts it get stucked.. :mad:
and it used to work great..
DAMNED!! I NEED TO INK!!!!!
i even started to use stupid freehand.. but it SUCKSSSSS!!!
i need my illustrator!! ::

Sounds to me like one (maybe more) of your fonts is (are) corrupt. Try and find the offending font and remove it from your system...

oh.. i just remembered to add this..
my photoshop is working ok.. so its hard for a font to be corrupt..
