yes, there is the question of if there is a God. "how can you prove he exists?"

some of the things you stated above are true. but the Bible itself states that not everything is explained; only the significant things. thus explaining historical errors.

what does saying the "F word" have to do with anything? i curse like a sailor, because nowhere in the Bible does it state "you cannot say these words: blah blah blah".

actually ive been to church once with my friend for the heck of it couse i spent a night with him and the preacher said something about if you say bad words you will go to hell.

i believe if you use the Lord's name in vain, and believe in him, you should/will be punished.

but whoever told you that, was just trying to keep you from cursing. cursing is looked down upon in society itself, not just religion.

Also Cloud9 you intentionally looking for a fight, agrument or debate starting this thread. You said that you didnt want anyone trying to change your mind about how you are living your life! Sounds to me like you have things figured out for yourself.

But then you ask someone to answer religous questions in something you dont even believe in or sound like you care about. But even if you wheren't intentionally looking for a fight, agrument or debate. That would assume that you wanted to change/question someone elses believes and possibly change there mind. But isn't this the same thing you asked us religous people not to do to you? In anycase if you are truelly wanting these answers and nothing else then maybe i can answer them from my stand point and you can choose to think whatever.

yes i knew all of those!

But you know before you do any of those you sin before that.
and if you whether you kill someone or tell a white lie its still a sin and one isnt worse then the other in Gods eyes. Also that since jesus died for our sins no matter how many tmes we mess up or sin the price was paid when he died so its like God doesn't count/see it when we go to judgement. These are my believes/opition.

yes i did!

But did you know that the bible was written several years after christ died. That the people that wrote the books where human and could of made mistakes. Even though there where errors the message is still the same. Plus if i asked you what did you have for beakfest, did or experienceed 3 years ago on this day could you remember?

Thats not what i beleive!

But if there was a God couldnt he make a brain and cells and people and everything even give someone the idea of biology. That he could create us and let us figure out what makes us work the way we do?

Again this are my believes and i also wouldnt want them to be forced on anyone.

In all probability every single on on this forum, and the majority of the human beings on the planet will go to hell... I do not believe in god, i believe in a higher power, but not some white guy in a toga, looking down/at people all day up in space... If the man was in the clouds, an airplane woulda hit em allready, so there is absolutely no sign of him on this planet... I also have the right to voice my oppinions and beliefs just like you genesis withen... Its called "freedome of speach, expression, and religion" i have that right as an American... I am not sure what it is like in europe "if that is where you live" but thats the way it is here...

god is something of faith, it can't be proven nor disproven. Its up to the person to use the (godgiven?) free will to choose. God isnt that bad, its the people that make it bad. im an athiest/agnostic but I've realized that it isnt something that we should be bothered by, just choose for yourself, and let everyone else choose for theirselves. A lot of religious people try to shove their beleifs down everyone elses throat, and Athiests do the same, Just let everyone choose for theirselves - why do you care so much about other people anyway?

First off, I would like to state that I am Agnostic. Secondly, I think you should try understanding a religion or a concept before disbelieving or bashing it. The major foundation of most organized religion is blind faith; to believe in something without any proof that it exists.

Kissing is not premarital sex. If anything, that's just the opinion of some conservative preacher/minister somewhere. Swearing and using the lords name in vain are considered sins. So are murder, rape, and adultry. However, in Christianity, you ask God for forgiveness, turn your life around, and accept Jesus Christ as your savior. That way, you do not go to Hell and suffer for all eternity.

Simple biology says nothing about the human soul, if there is such a thing. There is no proof that the human brain is a soul. Putting something in quotes does not make it fact!

In Christianity, Man was created in the image of God. So it seems fair to assume that God looks like a human. However, in heaven, I doubt anybody is wearing clothing -- let alone a toga. I doubt those in heaven are embarassed or shamed by the naked body.

It is completely asinine to think that an perfect, omnipresent and omnipotent being would just live in a visible body of water particles in the sky. And even if God and heaven existed in the sky, what makes you think any of that would be visible to the human eye or that a plane would be able to disrupt any of that? Surley, a being of such power would be able to hide any or all signs of his existence from people.

Nowhere did anybody ever threaten to take away your opinions. Genesis_within was only expressing his, and pointing out that the gears in your head could use some oil. In a forum controlled by private citizens, what you say can be censored. So consider freedom of speech and expression up to the discretion of forum moderators. Oh, and while the United States of America is touted as a great haven for freedom, American citizens actually have less freedom than certain citizens abroad.

A lot of people do not believe in God. This is true. However, the opinions of "alot of people" are not facts.
