What kind of computers does your school have?

Mine has some kind of compaq's. Black with some chrome paint. on the front. I don't remember the exact clock speed or RAM. I think the click speed is maybe at 2.4Ghz. Not exactly sure though.

we have Dells with tons of District Admining software on them

We cant right click, have icons, or anything a normal PC does.... hmmm only normal thing is a start menu but even then it's edited.... and no Command Prompt nor run........ Stupid Censorship.... At least there login stuff is ez to bypass

Eh, my school, has Macs. some of them are nice, we've got a T1 line, so if your on any of the iBooks or Powerbooks (we have about 200 of them), or any of the PowerMacs, then your gonna have some fairly fast stuff, but, we've got a lot of OLD macs too, like G3's and older, so eh, if your unlucky enough to get stuck with one of those, your liekly to get little done, especially me b/c i HAVE to run internet and 5 billion other programs simutaniously, but yeah.

We have some old Compaq's still lying around, but at the start of this year they upgraded to P4's (not sure the actual speed) for the computer labs and the library.. Not too shabby.

T1 lines are really that fast. They are around cable/dsl speeds are were fast when they were the backbones of the web 15 years ago. (in response to rockaway315 comment saying that the school has a t1 line, so it is fast)
