Hi at the end of this month im gonna get a radeon 9600xt256mb
tell me what u think of it and give me other suggestions graphics cards around £220 thanks

9800 Pro 128MB is around 200 american, and is the same, if not way better than that card.

Wait a little longer, the new cards will bring the price of the current cards down some.

That would work too but id wait as speed said. And you know the 256mb compared to 128mb really doesnt make a big difference its all the other capabilities of the card that do.

256 !> 128 atm. Most 256 mb card have slower memory then their 128 counterparts. Your wasting your money on that ram. Teh 9800 pro will smoke a 256mb 9600 xt.

ATI plans to release the X800 and X800 XT soon and should knock the prices of the other cards down a bit -- wait until then if you wish to save money.
