It's not bad for a first. The pen tool can take a while to even halfway master, in which case it took me a grueling month and a half to get everything nice and leveld out using it. Smoothness will come with experience.

I'm so stuck. I'm trying to do the nose and eyes.. but they're all wonky. I don't know what to do. Actually, all the facial features are pretty messed up, but I don't know how to make them any better To be honest, I have no clue what to do next.

well its not too bad..but if you are having alot of trouble, you could start on a different project..
try a car, my first vector is(im still working on it) a car, and im finding it quite easy, and everyone says its heaps good..

i hear a face, or a human for that matter is one of the hardest vectors...
