ok well, what i mean is..

when i draw a shape, i just right click on the pen line and click fill subpath

and in my layers pallet i have a couple of layers labelled "dark shade" "light shade" "midtone" etc...
so i draw the pen line, then choose what shade i want, then fill it with that colour on its assigned layer.. get what i mean?

i dont think its even a vector anymore, it just looks like one..

well, i say its still a vector... if you can zoom it and still see clearly, its a vector... if you can get back to the path you made b4, its a vector... (thats what i think)

are you making it with Illustrator?

yeh thats the thing, sometimes when i re-open the .psd file, i can get back to some paths..
half my original paths are gone for some reason..

and no im making it in photoshop..

otherwise if i was making it in illustrator, it would definately be a vector seeing as illustrator is vector based...theres no two ways about it... but im not, im making it in photoshop, so i dunno what it is anymore lol

off corse if you havent made it with Illustrator its not the same thing...

maybe its not a real vectored image but what im sure is that its a vector art image :P

yeh well it looks like vector art, but i dont think it is true vector..

either way, i dont really care, im just in it to make it look good, im pretty proud of it so far..

I tried making myself using the pentool (with a background image to start off with, ofcourse).

Never got to finishing it.
Time consuming work, isn't it?
