i've only been a fulltime freelancer from october 03, but here is an idea for your info:
according to current work load, i'm estimating close to $40k. just within the last 4 months, i have raised my rates. current project is a product brochure campaign that i'm getting $3000.00. that's for an estimated 35 hours of work. you can do the math.
i, like deziner, also have 5 years experience, going on 6, in developing graphics for print. i've worked at a printing company, ad agency, and have done web work the entire time. now, i do it for me. well, 3Howards that is, my business.
