Illustrator Question...
Im new to Illustrator and trying to learn how to draw vector images. Someone told me that I'll start off best by tracing over photos. I wanna know...is there a way to trace over a photo in Illustrator??

Sure. Put the photo on it's own layer, then make a layer above it and start tracing. There are auto tracing tools, but in Illustrator they suck and that won't teach you anything about how to use the program. Get comfortable with how paths work and using the pen tool.
