illustrator symbols

is there any other websites to download different symbols at other than the adobe exchange?

When you say "symbols". What exactly are you talking about? The "symbol" feature in Illustrator is just a place to put artwork you would like to have repeated with low overhead... meaning you can make a symbol from anything, so I'm not quite sure what you're getting at.

He means (I think) the symbols like the Pen tool, and the Text Tool, etc.

Never found another site besides Adobe's, but in the near future (read it new site) I pretend to offer some (in case you want something specific let me know ).

Yeah, that's what I thought you were talking about.

You can make a symbol out of any vector artwork, or embedded raster object. There's nothing special about what things can become a symbol. If you want new symbols, go find some vector artwork/clipart/whatever you like, then tell illustrator to convert it into a symbol. Simple as that. There are also some libraries hidden in your install directory with extra, pre-made symbols for you to use. Just add them to your symbols palette.
