Logo help

I created a logo, and the preview can be found here:

The client doesn't want the letters to continue outside of the orb, but I don't know how to get rid of that without crapping up the whole deal. Help please?

If you are using Illustrator you could try the Envelope Distort effect (in the Object menu).

If you have Illustrator CS, use the "type on a path" function.
Just, drag a path around your orb, and type your "3G".

copy the circle and duplicate the text, create outlines, then do a path divide using pathfinder.
