3DStudio Max 6 Plugins Menu???

Hello all, I am following a tutorial that requires me to use Character studio in the Plugins Menu, problem is I cant find the plugins menu. Can someone tell me where and how to activate charecter studio??? Ive looked through my manual and cant seem to locate it, probably user error. but none the less can someone tell me where it is?
