Color Matching from PS 5.5 to ILL 9

Hi...I am experienced in Photoshop, but somewhat new to Illustrator. I have an image which was given to me by a client
to incorporate into a logo. The image came to me as a greyscale EPS (dithered-obviously from a photograph once apon a time)which I converted to duotone to create the colors the client wanted. They now want a vector version and I ran it through
streamline and got a pretty nice result and the colors are the same. But when I take it into Ilustrator 9 the colours are off.
I can manually change them because I have to RGB numeric values, but there are too many slight differences, its too time consuming to do it that way. I've tried chnaging preferences in Illustrator, but it does't seem to work.
Perhaps its a simple thing I've missed. Any suggestions?

Why bother to reply if you have nothing to say?

Good question Kris..I'm also interested in finding out the answer!

When you say streamline do you mean you took a gif or psd file and converted it to an eps file? If so, does this mean you can make it so you can resize it in Illustrator while keeping the quality of the image the same?

First off you are comparing rgb to cmyk, This in itself is a problem. If you can convert your rgb to cmyk note the color make-up in PS, i.e. c-45%, m-10%, etc.
In your AI(Streamlined) file apply the same numberic values and you should have a match.
