PHP tutorials

is there any free way of learnign PHP on the net rather than php.net because i cant seem to find my way around there

Try www.google.com - I personally picked up all my PHP knowledge from there (aside from php.net) .

Just type in the subject you want (say, mysql news script), make sure you include the word 'tutorial' or 'guide' or 'walkthrough' in your search criteria. Then you're all set.

Also, www.sqlcourse.com is a great resource for learning My/SQL.
