When you join, you'll need to PM an op or halfop in order to be voiced. ___________________ Check my title. I've had trouble connecting as of last night around 1030 PM EST. All three connection sites (tc.tutorialnetwork.org, irc.veonex.net, and the ip) do not connect me, because the connection is refused. Is anyone else having this problem? ___________________ "Hey, **** YOU!" If you guys want a web based IRC client to help promote the channel. (and make it easir for people to join), you might want to look into pjirc which is a java applet based client. The only requirment is that you need the JRE installed. (works fine with 1.4.2.) I've set this up before in the past and it's very easy. I can help if you're interested. For those of you who were left in the dark when the xchat windows build went shareware, the project has been picked up by a guy who goes by teh alias of silverex. You can download his build that requires GTK at http://silverex.info . It's completely legal. The reason the xchat windows build went paid was due to the amount of work that went into porting it to windows without requiring the user install gtk. XChat is open source software, so he just releases a version that will run on windows with the aid of GTK. Again, the url is http://silverex.info . Enjoy. ___________________ boardhelp.com - a website for forum owners, and sometimes carpenters |
