Well, what i wan tto do is easily make borders. The only way I know how is to make a selection, inverse it and fill it in with a pattern. The problem is when I want to make more then one box with a border around it on the same site its impossible...:\

Picture of what? :\
What I mean is, when I make a selection on a blank page 400x400 for example. In order to make a dotted line, I make a selection about 1 pixed away from the sides of the images and inverse the selection. Then, I can just fill it in with a patter I previously made and I have my border. However, using this technique I cant create more borders on the same image...I hope that makes it a little clearer...

Well I read that thread, I just dont understand how to adjust the spacing of defined brushes. Whenever I use the Brushes window (window>brushes) it doesnt work properly. I read a tutorial once talking about some modifier window after you made a custom brush but I have no clue how to open it...

ok, check the attached screen shot, shows you the brush palette and the options you need to play with .... try different sized brushes, maybe the pencil tool for a harder dot, and change the spacing til you get what you need....
