the brain has different sections called "lobes" that control different functions of the body. have you heard of something called lobotomy? what they do is make a cut in your forehead and remove some of the frontal part of your brain, or the "frontal lobe", which is responsible for emotion. that is also why lobotomy patients turn into vegatables after the operation...
