Directory File Size

Working on a problem here....

I want my directories to show their file size, from my browser. I have it all set up, execpt the dir size. How can I display the file size of the directory, and how many files are within it?

Along the left side are links to other functions associated with that sort of thing .. Im sure u could find it from there ...

the only way to get a directories size using filesize is to scan the directory and add up each files filesizes to get the total size of the directory.
