Purchasing Hosting
I'm new when it comes to purchasing hosting. Is it better to pay for an entire year of hosting at one time or to pay by the month? I figured this was the best place to put this, but then again, I've never ventured this far out of the Photoshop corner.
Thanks for any help.

hum... depending on companies sometimes its cheaper when paid per year...
but you may want to pay per month if you dont have all the money right now... somtimes it can be VERY cheap :d
Cheers.

Usually if you pay for an entire year, you get a discount.. if you pay monthly, there's less obligation towards the host, should you need to switch. I prefer the latter.

if you dont know much about hosting i HIGHLY suggest that you pay on a month to month basis. There are some webhosts out there that wont be around for a full year so your money will be wasted. Go the safe option and pay monthly
I also HIGHLY suggest that you delete/uninstall any Photoshop and or Photoshop related products and install a far superior Paint Shop Pro in its place

ROFL... PSP 8 rules...
It depends if you want to save money go yearly and if you want to feel secure go monthly.
But some times a host wont allow you to buy a plan monthly for example real cheap plans the costs to process the money will cost more than the hosting account so the host makes a loss.

sign up for a few months at first, learn their service stats, notice the support time and downtime ect. then decide if you would like to continue hosting with them, and consider purchasing a yearly plan.
