I'm very interested in webdesign, and I really enjoy keeping up with my website. Also, I'm in the process of learning PHP.

HostUltra says it supports PHP and MySQL, so it would probably work with phpBB.
Other than that, I have a phpBB on one of my sites, and it's hosted by dreamhost.com. I like it there, but it definitely has its share of downtime.
I can't tell you much about Netrillium.net, because I'm not hosted there, but my friend is and she says it supports phpBB as well.
EDIT: As an afterthought, I'm assuming you're looking for a paid host... if you want a free one, I can't help you. Sorry!

Looks into any host who offer cPanel or Fantastico Module to have phpBB install automaticly by one click.

Actually, CPanel switched from XMB to phpBB, so it will install it regardless..
If I'm correct, DreamHost was quite expensive.
Anyways, for a low-activity forum with minimal skins and mods, I'd say 10MB space and 250MB bandwidth, but you'll certainly need more if the pace picks up..

Actually, you don't need Fantastico to install it. CPanel has a built-in function.
If you have a problem with the installation, PM me and I can help.. I've done it a ton of times myself.
