why wouldent it be a good idea to increase virtural ram? becuase if the hard drive is the problem, it would cause more activity with it? or another reason.

thanks i think thats the problem. ps. if i do have alot of spyware, could anyone recommend a program to get rid of it all. You may want to upgrade it's driver or unistall it then reinstall it. lastly you may consider purchasing a new cd-r drive they are rather cheap (under $20 for a 56x drive). and cd-rw's arn't much more expensive ___________________ Back in the states.
