Firstly you need good meta-tags, if you dont already have them, tryout this generator i just made

Once you have added that you should be ok to get submitting, alot of the time using multiple search engine submission (submmiting your details to more than 1 search engine at a time) does not work and will just waste your time. The best way in my opinion is to manually go to search engines and add your link.

Another good way to get listed in the search engines and increase your position is to get other websites to link your website. This usually helps alot and the more links the better your position in most cases
