new cover design

Hey everyone,

This is my first post to this forum so I decided to put myself out there and get my new cover design critiqued. It's for an entertainment weekly called "POP".

Nice colors and good contrast, but I suggest to work on the 'hard-to-read'-text at the top and maybe you can make the photographer in the middle stand out more!?

Did it take long? I'm wondering if the butterflies are a brush or if you edited them in yourself. I liked the concept.

I actually just found the butterfly images and edited them in. I did not create the butterflies, but I did add their reflections to blend them into the piece. I'd say the whole thing took about 3 or 4 hours I'm guessing.
