How to make the pictures.

Hey, ive been checking this site out for a few months now, always come back for the toturials n stuff, helped so much, and i love the wallpapers ppl make, i was just wonder..how are those pictures made, they are all so damn crazy, id like to be able to make something like that.

from what I have accumulated; people here mostly use photoshop, illustrator, bryce, 3dmax ... and other random graphic art programs.

if you are interested in making your own, I suggest starting with photoshop. You can get a great 'how to use' book for around 50$ that will teach you everything from the basics to the advanced. I personally got the book "Inside Photoshop 7" by Gary David Bouton ... and it has become my best friend hehe.

if you want to just jump staright into it, test out demo's for different programs and then get the one you are most comfortable using, then search for tutorials for that program, or buy a good 'how to use' book.

With some time and effort, your creations will progress and if you keep at it, you could also make the crazy wallpapers and pictures you see on here. Good luck and have fun learning !

Yeah I suggest either getting 3DSM. Or PS. There the best programs to start with, depending whether you wanna do 2D or 3D. (PS = 2D, 3DSM = 3D).
