2A will always be good because the designers are really talented. Whether they are in the "trendy" catagory or not, they will always be big because they constantly put out really great work while other sites will put out a few good pieces and then fall apart.

I personally am really tired and annoyed by flash just for flash's sake. I mean sometimes its needed, and other times its not, and most designers don't stop to think about that.

I suppose it depends on the website, what its for, who its for... Depending whether flash looks good on it.

Yeah its been around for a while, and its also not really a website so much as just one big graphic.

They should animate the pixel people in it and make a big scrolling screen saver from it.
