hey i wanna know how to make my image not so bad lookin when saved as jpeg...any secrets? and how do I make a transparent image? thanx.

the only way not to lose quality is not to compress it so much, but then the filesize gets bigger. psp7 has a JPG compressor, you can use it to see what kinda results each level of compression gets.

to make images/part of images transparent, make all the parts you want transparent the same color, pic a color that you dont have on any other parts of your image. choose that color as your background color, transform the image to GIF, and then choose Set Tranparency from the color menu. in the transparency window, choose Set Tranparency to current bg color.
