Blur
I've noticed on several tuts thats when a gaussian blur is used first you take make a blur then half of that then half of that on down to 1....whats the benefit of doing this? (ex: blur 36, then 16, then 8, then 4, then 2, then finally1)

Kryptonite - i know 16 isn't half of 36...its been a long finals week, theres isn't much left in my head....but the reason i brought this point up is because i noticed that robouk uses this technique on his tutorials...i just thought it was curious. Try it, You will get a different result if you blur something by 2 then 4, then 8 It seems to be a little crispier in places and in some cases works better. ___________________ - Robouk |
