They are an online company that matches coders and
programmers with buyers who have projects.
Registration is free you create a profile and then bid on
projects. They also offer certification in most if not all
Internet related skills, PHP, Photoshop, MySQL, PERL, etc....
The competion is a little fierce, although, I think once you gain
a rating kind of like Ebay you can get a pretty steady source
of work. Also, getting those certs also helps a lot. They also
send you a paper certificate. Hope that answers your question.

did you register as a coder??? You need to register with them
to acess those features. They have teamed up with

If you are not interested in a membership with rentacoder,
there is also Brain bench, they just offer Certifications. Also, training.

Im sure there are others, these are just a couple that I am familiar with.
