Cricket WC Semi's closing in...

Australia are now sure of a spot in the semi finals after beating NZ in a thriller last night.

How's this for a lower order batting card:

M BEVAN - 56
A BICHEL - 64
B LEE (not out) 15
G McGRATH (not out) 3

The Aussie batting lineup sure has depth! I almost died when the 7th wicket fell for less than 100 runs. Bevan and Bichel again saved the day.

Lee and McGrath took the majority of the wickets to bowl NZ out for 112.

So now NZ go on to play India. They have to beat India to stay in the competition. I think it will be a great match.

I am counting on India to defeat New Zealand.. and i dont know about the finals against Aussies and Indians... well am here in Canada and i dont even watch the games.. doesn't come in regular cables..unless you use it illegally.. so yeah..

did you know the Top 2 RunScorers till Super Six is Sachin and Sourav Ganguly(Ind) as well . btw, Sourav has got nearly 9000 ODI runs , and 2 centuries in this World Cup only ...

as for the Semi's since we will breeze past Kenya ... thats leaves only the Ausies between India and the World Cup

Did you know we are also undefeated and we also beat India the first time we played them by NINE wickets. I hope the match against them (it will be a semi or a final) will have a bit more competition than that.

We get to play Kenya next! I am so proud of Kenya! I hope its a close game.

I woud laugh so much if either of us lost to Kenya

btw, we are meeting the Kenyans in the Semis ... you guys will be up against probably NZ again or maybe Zimb.

and I won't be be lauhing just because the Kenyans are doing such good ... I would be heart boken and damn angry if we lost to them
