Please verify that your Diablo II Expansion Disc is in your CD-ROM drive
Every time i try to play Diablo 2 lod with the latest patches and everything up to date i get the please verify that your diablo 2 expansion disc is in the cd-rom drive. THIS IS A DAMN JOKE IM GONNA KILL THE BASTARDS! Please someone help me with this, i have my cd-drive(s) both set at quad speed or higher and all of the settings are correct. I have a feeling that this has to do with the v1.09 patch for online play; which is the only play i am interested in!

1. Is it the real CD?
2. I had a similar problem with the regular diablo 2. It was my cd-rom drive - incompatible with the latest patch or something. it was wierd. copy the cd to the harddrive and play of that.

Targeting diff disc drive?
I believe to view the files and copy them to your hard drive, you have to right-click on the disc-drive icon, and click view files. Also, the game might be targeting the other drive that you have to read the disc. Say you have a D disc drive and an E disc drive. You might want to be playing on the other disc drive (D), but it is targeting E. Place the disc in E and see if that works.
