Question on External Modem

Ok I am having trouble with my external 56k modem its an US robotics and its suppose to allow me to be able to awnser calls while I'm online. I can get it to connect to the net, the problem is to get it to let me awnser the calls or atleas notify me that someoneis calling and by a fact I know it doesnt. I some1 could give some advise maybe if they own one or used to own one atleast, like what to set the settings as in the "Control" software that comes with it.

Check the manual, and if there is nothing in there, then see if you can find a help section for that particular modem at US Robotics website.

It most likely has something to do with the way the software is set up.
