PSP vs PHOTOSHOP
PSP Advantages:
Easy interface, execellant for newbies.
Great file compressing!
Nice and colorful:)
Excellent to make site layouts with
Includes Animation shop, good for beginners making buttons
Some good filters, and can incorporate photoshop filters.
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP Advantages:
1337 graphics
Very advanced
Great for slicing images into a website
Sweet plugz for it (Eye Candy, etc)
Includes Action scrpt
Does alot more stuff with layers
Which do you perfer? I use PSP normally for layouts, if i need a l337 gfx i use photoshop. but it hogs a shiot load of memory! And psp is awesome at compressing files!

Im not sure about posting this poll on the PSP forum, the readers probably use PSP?
besides, its generally known that Photoshop is much more used. I prefer PSP because I've used it for years and I an do everything I need in PSP.
about your PS advantages..
1337 graphics - I guess you could make 1337 graphics with PSP?
Very advanced - depends, PSP 7 is far more advanced then the older version of PSP. I'm pretty sure that there aren't many features in PS that PSP wouldnt have by now.
Great for slicing images into a website - I'm not sure if PS has a special feature for this but I've never had any problems with image slicing in PSP
Sweet plugz for it (Eye Candy, etc) - if we go to more advanced design, I doubt that people use any plugins. plus eyecandy works in PSP.
Includes Action scrpt - right on that one, I dont know much about them but PSP doesnt have this feature.
Does alot more stuff with layers - the layer options are pretty much the same on both programs, if you really get into layers in PSP you can do the same as in PS.
just my .02

I used PSP for about 2 years until recently, you can basically do the same things within both. Just a different routine is all.

I think i would go withPhotoShop because it seems to me the images come out alot smoother and you can do alot more with the layers and plugins, and psp looks way too childish

well I'm guessing psp images look less "smooth" because beginners are more likely to use. but if you learn PSP you can create most of what can be done in photoshop. the layers are pretty much the same in psp7 and PS, I dunno about plugins because I hardly use any but the built in plugins in psp are ok. I wouldnt call it childish either, nor would I call a site like wwwpinoy7.com "not smooth".
