Great Sites And Action Scripts! Need Help!

hi, to make good sites it's all about Action Scripting right? like good flash intros or flash sites. i mean look at THIS!

those sites are just plain crazy. did they use action script for them with flash? it's mostly using action scripts.
and also:

is a small multiplayer game where u can build ur own stuff on and meet other people. Did they use actionscript for that and was it hard? or what?

hey i looked at www.planetofthedrums.com
and they used a lot of frame animation. which means they created each frame themselves not using a motion tween. i also noticed that it was very trendy stuff. for a tutorial on trendy stuff like that go here www.wastedyouth.org they have a great intro for trend whores.

thanks dude, one more question. when you do those type of stuff, did you think he thought of the animation first THEN put the sound in to match it, or make the sound FIRST then the animation to match it? or how would people do it?

my theory is this-
1. get a cool sounding techno mix

2. play it a couple times

3. once u get a feel of when the high points are or maybe there is a really cool part in the music or something like that you go to step 4

4. open flash and import the sound into the movie

5. figure out what frames play when ur stuff from step 3 comes in.

6. have an animation start or end or maybe both on that frame

7. now add some other little stuff to the rest of the movie

P.S. - i have found out that music makes flash 10x better
