switching images

If I wanted to have 8 images, is it possible to have 1 image in a frame and then for example, as I rolled over buttons, to switch different images in ?

its possible ...

make one movie clip and put 8 images on different frames ... put stop() action on each frame too.

now put this thing on button rollover

on(rollOver){
targetFrame = 1 + random(;
_root.yourmc.gotoAndStop(targetFrame);
}
