Building a very simple Flash poll or survey
Hi guys I've asked this question many times in other forums but never got any answers.... so I thought I'll try my luck here..... is there a way to create a very simple flash poll that works with a txt file even, doesn't have to be database driven, but just read the variables submited to a txt file and then display the results as a bar graph with the number of votes counted... any help would be greatly appreciated

okay no probs ..
can you process poll / survey by ASP and can generate .txt files which contains data regarding the POLL / survey ?

yup yup I even have a basic one here, but it doesn't write to the text file.... http://www.eyecandystudios.net/wh/poll.html most likely my server doesn't give me the permission too, although I did try it at home

so can u generate file like this ?

&excellent=0
&good=20
&bad=0
by your ASP Script ?
and ya can u add poll to your database / flat file by this ?
http://yourserver/you/poll.asp?action=add&addid=1
means this will add 1 vote to excellent ..

Hmm I am a bit, would you be able to whip up something quick, as I'm a better visual learner... if it's too much trouble no worries

yeah hes right. Just right to a db or a textfile. Using the info from flash and then you can simple recall the data as variables
