Okay everybody,
Ive got this current layout here: www.younghistorians.com/indexreal.php

I would like to convert this layout into a more modern look like robouk has. i would use the same colors and all, but a modern style look, made with pixel art, almost exactly like robouk.mchost.com is.(cept the postitioning of the features, in which case would be the same as my current one)

Anyway, where do i start? What do i need to do?

Well, all I can suggest is you keep making new designs, with each design you make you'll notice an improvement and you'll learn alot along the way.
