Help needed

Hi i just started web design and want to design a few sites. ive browsed the forum and checked a few links and there are a few sites i like alot

i really like that green and orange background on the front page and the one when u click the enter button

Can anyone tell me how i can create effects like that and what programs i need

You're gonna need photoshop and 3d program like 3dsmax and skill.

That type of work takes talent, so it will require alot of practice.

Any where or anyone can tell me how i can create somethings along these lines ? like a basic version and i can progress towards that stage ?

I don't see why a 3d program would be needed for that.

The talent part i agree with, though.

Images like that aren't just "thrown together". You really need to know what you are doing to make it all come together in an appealing way.

I would suggest trying to break it down to certain shapes, then trying to recreate the image that way.

The pen tool would probably be a useful thing to know about in this situation.
