Free Hosts (NO ADS)
I'm looking for a service that will host my site. I'm not looking for a .com just yet. What I want is a service that will host my site for free, but without forcing me to have ads.
I was trying to get to www.f2s.com but I couldn't connect to the server. I also looked at www.hostingonfly.com, but when I searched their sites all I got was porn, so I decided against them. If you know of any good hosts out there that are free without ads, just tell me. Thanks!

I have an account with http://www.digitalrice.com. They are good and fast, but you will have to wait till they start accepting new members again. Also, they run WinNT

they really suck though because they are down a lot and the speeds suck... but then again you get what you pay for

I recommend checking out Xism
Although I don't know what they support and what not.. But they got an excellent server.. that is the only thing I know...
May be anyone else can comment on them ??

About XISM:
I haven't signed up with their service, but I do see that they do not allow FTP uploading
That makes things a REAL pain hehe

I use f2s.com and that works great, it doesn't have much down time either. The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't support .mp3 files or .zip files. But other then that, it's great.
