Button Return Animations!

I used to know how to create a button return animation. Where the button does an animation after being down before going back to its up state. Now I just can't remember? Anybody help?

If you want to have a movieclip run on its own timeline....irregardless of the button state...create a movie clip and use a invisible button (button with just a hit state)...if you want something else...plese clarify your request...Im kinda confused...
