It's true, I.P's get logged, KaZaA has spyware, but....if you don't use broadband technically your safe, because after reconnection the I.P changes....Damn parents getting me broadband :mad:

i found the original download i asked about and it didnt work >.<
then a friend tried to download it for me off kazaa and make me a disk of it...and it didnt work again.
im screwed. ill never have the cash for it lol

Warez isnt just about releasing bad, corrupted files, I'm a part of a crackin group, yes i dont give a **** what you all think, I've been doin this for over 4 years, it's like a diff side of me, i do it for fun, now, it doesnt mean i dont respect the developers... cause i do, big time
I have axxes to everything, full releases, in other words retail CDs converted into cd images like iso/bin, that dont even require cracks/serials...I'm sure when you talk about warez, you often asscociate it with ****ed up games/appz/movies etc. Groups like DoD that has been busted was doing ****, and didnt have any idea how to protect themselves, that's why they got busted.
I'm sure you know all about FTP, yeah stupid statement but do you know of FXP ? this kinda thing allows you to transfer files @ great speeds, even if you're on a phone connection....
so if you have a lets say a 1mbit server from which you FXP files to another 1mbit or even OC you'd get incredible speeds, even if you were on 56k...
Warez in these days has a new meaning, and 404- about tracing the IP, that's bs, there's no way they can do that, trust me, ofcourse it's safer for people who are on phone connections, cause their IP changes with every time they connect...

sure your ip is among one in a million on a dial-up (especially if your on aol or msn), but if your using dsl or cable, its still hard to find the guy.

and have you guys ever heard of a proxy ?? just wondering...
