Dynamic Text Boxes?

How do you make a text box that people can type in in Flash?

can't remember exactly, a little lazy to look but i think you select a normal text area and go over on the left somewhere toward the bottom, there should be an option to turn it into a text field. it looks like a box w/ ab| in it (i think). lemme know if you can't find it, i'll give you more details.
