Gateways are good computers. Ive had this gateway for like 8 months and its been really good. I can admit some of the people at tech support are idiots. The guy told my i used my opertating system too much and i would have to buy a new operatining system.

I would go with a PC in my opinion they're better I used to use a mac until I started having problems then I switched to a PC. I like it better.

i'm not sure im gonna sell anymore but still going to get the laptop mac

to get a mac is bad, but a laptop is worse. you wont be able to upgrade anything except maybe ram, and macs are better for graphic design? ya ill believe that when cows fly.... i own both a mac and pc, my mac is in a box filled with the rest of my useless crap...

anyway if your going to get a mac, at least get something other than a laptop, to me i think they are a waste of money. unless you use them for business or travel...

ok well i think im going to take my own opinion and see how i like it

eidolic doesnt know what hes talking about.... people compare top of the line pcs to dinky first gen i macs. not fair. also i own a mac... one thats three years old and its great still. and about the coding thing, you should see some websites developed on a pc on a mac they look horrible so if you guys were saying the same thing about sites dev'd on a mac you should think of it the other way around. if you really want to see an example just reply to this post and i'll post a screenshot of robouk's site on a mac. get 1 they are 1 million times better than a pc and i'm not exagerating. and the laptop thing, its your choice, if you want to see an independant study about the powerbook used as a design computer email me achromatic@attbi.com.

my pc isnt that top of the line, and the mac i have is a imac. when i use the two, the pc has more capabilities, and i think is a better buy in the end. tell me why macs are 1 million times better, i wanna hear...

eh 1 million times better? I wanna hear too. I think macs are ok but they just dont have the capabilities that PC's have. If your into graphics its for you.
