Mac or PC

Hey guys im thinking about buying a Mac laptop OS10.. I hear there "GREAT" for graphics, webdesign, flash, etc...

Can you please let me know?

Mac's are better than PC's for art and designing. Just look at them, they are pieces of art themselves, and most artists pick them over PC's for their simplicity. The one problem is that most people who will be viewing your work are on PC's, and what you see on your Mac appears a little different on a PC. I have a friend who designs his sites on his Mac, and he changes his code and his site appears perfect on his computer, but on mine I always see things a little different.

I would say that it is a good idea to get the Mac, but don't get rid of your PC just yet. You should wait and see if it is what you need.

Yes, but those come with obligations... You see how you have to sign up for MSN or AOL for a set amount of time and pay the phone bills and service charges. When you add it all up, it costs just as much, if not more, and you're getting a bunch of BS.

$800 for a gateway??? a used gateway???

I'm sorry...but Gateways are horrible horrible pc's and you're trying to sell yours for like a$200 profit??? not gonna happen..

I suggest you take Jasons $20 and consider yourself lucky to get that.

there parts are manufactured by the same ones as dells (processors, graphic cards, etc) the only reason im selling mine for so much is because of the accessiores im giving away.. like the Logitech satellite speakers with sub, a extra p3500mhz

Build a computer. It's cheaper (Hundreds of dollars cheaper), you know what you're getting. And you don't pay for programs you don't want. You can get a better deal if you build. It's not hard either.

About the mac vs. pc. I've heard that mac's are actually good for them. All my teachers suddenly got them for some reason. Mostly for music and art. But what ender said about web coding is true. So you might have to watch out about that.

Plus, macs just LOOK sexy. Who can resist those chrome/gel buttons/bars. Mmm. Plus the outsides of them are cool too. I don't know if they're good for anything else though
