Help out a new Fireworker

Hey dudes, im sure many of you have seen in in the image show off and adone sections of the site.

I have just recently gotten Fireworks 4.0 as a present and I was just wondering what is its use exactly, i know its used for vector shapes and what now, but I mean, what else can you do besides slice and sutff,

and is there any where with good tutorials?

IM still goin through the apps tuts, (Macromedia should be honoured for its great on board tuts )

Fireworks is great for animation, navigation, and basic image effects. As for tutorials, you'll find plenty at about.com. Fireworks is a pretty easy program to learn, you'll get used to it.
