I can't stand IE, and microsoft's so-called standards, so I haven't used it since chimera came on the scene.

But, I've heard pretty good things about NS7, I might have to give it a try. It's based off mozilla also, right?

Get a QuickSilver G4... and when you find more money buy a second display and plug it in...
there! dueal screen in a flash, no messing around with drivers, graphic cards, windows, blue screens, black screens...

To me a PC running windows, is like a air conditioners. You open a window and it all fails to work!

LOL, be careful, us mac users are a minority around here.

I already have a b&w g3 and a g4 cube, and the cube is due to get a nice dual-gig upgrade soon, along with a new video card.

I'd love to get a Quicksilver, and I may still get one someday. You can never have to may mac's in my opinion. But the iMac would make a great living room addition for my house. I like the all-in-one design.

I'll fight fire with fire... just about every magazine a PC User or Gamer reads, are compiled on Macs... they still be reading black and white pamflets with out us!

i have a cube.. G4 450 also has 1.5Gb , 80gb HD and GeForce4 MX. Used for all my DTP stuff, running a old Apple Graphic Display.

I also have a againg 7500/100 it's back in it's box now... i don't have any more room for it.

I wouldn't swap it for any PC... even if they paid me

Oh... another thing with Macs... When our OS completely dies' we don't need to format & fdisk the drive.. hence we keep all our data safe!

However... I do have a battered secondhand X-Box though... however it's no longer a console, instead it's been hacked, ripped appart, chipped, upgraded, spray painted and now all it does is run Linux as my cheap server while holding a huge pile of paper in place... I've even gone to the extent of getting rid of the ms logo...

I use my cube for pretty much everything, since my girlfriend took over my blue and white. Between creating illustrator images and writing cocoa programs, the cube gets a pretty good workout. I've only recently started to feel it slow down, which is surprising since it's [i]only[/i] a 450. But still, it amazes me how much this damn box can do. Everything in it is stock, but I'm currently saving up to plunk a new processor in it, along with a radeon 9000. Too bad things like rent, and a car payment get in the way of my computer upgrades.

the 7500 was a very good machine. I still have a 6360 that runs as a seti machine. I swear that computer has been on for about 2 years straight.

Wow... your place dead tidy!... how...

You know, i wish i had the balls to show you my little studio... for the pass two years i've literally climb in and out of my work space. If i had pc's they be sitting on top, just to keep cool! Maybe when i tidy up i'll take some snaps.

Tidy? You should see it now, it's a figgen mess. Before I got the wraparound desk, the g3 monitor was sitting where the LCD is, and the cube was banished to the floor. It was a pain in the *** to get anything done on it, so I didn't even use it for the 1st couple of months that I had the thing. It's a much better work environment now.
