I do Adobe After Effects, Flash, and a few other things on the PC ( that why I got the dual monitors, mainly for flash) . There are also some good programs out there that are not on the mac yet, like captivate, etc...

The laptop was a gift from the "boss" so I could get work done on the road.

What the heck, I haven't posted here in a while...

New game/workstation:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
Giga-Byte K8N Ultra 939 mobo
1GB Crucial Ballistix PC3200
74GB WD Raptor 10,000rpm HDD
80GB Maxtor 7200rpm HDD
Radeon 9600se 128MB dual (still shopping for a replacement)
SB Audigy Gamer
Dual monitors (20" flat and 17" flat)
XP Professional (installed in nine minutes flat...sweet)

Old (backup) workstation:
AMD Athlon XP 2100+ (clocked to 2400+)
Soyo Dragon KT400 Ultra mobo
512MB Corsair PC3000
60GB Maxtor 7200rpm HDD
Radeon 9100 128MB dual
SB Live! 5.1
Dual monitors (21" and 17")
XP Professional

Server:
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ (the extreme one, this blows my 2100+ out of the water)
Soyo Dragon KT400 Ultra mobo
1GB Kingston PC2700
Multiple SCSI 10,000rpm HDDs in Raid
Rage128 vid (specs unknown)
No audio (disabled onboard...it's a server, folks)
RedHat9 (switching to SuSe)

Backup (old server):
1.3GHz P3 Tualatin core
Tyan Trinity600 server board
1GB PC133
40GB & 15GB Maxtor 7200rpm HDDs
ti4600 64MB video
audio does not apply
RedHat9

I have lots of other stuff lying around, most of it is obselete so I didn't bother posting, but I still love some of those classic games so I just keep them running. Lots of peripherals too (camera, scanner, ipod, printers, etc), didn't bother to post them. Didn't post the old Macs, still laptop shopping for a Powerbook. Don't have the iBook anymore.

For the heck of it, I have a cable connection rated at 768K down and 64K up...that's my gaming and regular use connection.

And I have DSL with 128K down and up, that's the server connection.
