What am I upto these days?

When I joined the site, I was 14 or 15, can't remember. I could barely write one or two sentences that made sense, since my English was a little rusty by the time. Got the interest on programming and here I am.

I'm gonna be 23 in a couple of weeks, and for sure I've been doing the rounds on several jobs, before contributing on what became the business now I manage on my own, it's been hard specially with accounting (someone has to pay taxes), but you get used to all that pressure is addictive.

I joined TF two months after turning 12, and now am about two months away from turning 16. So it's been about 4 years. I was never too active on TF; I became pretty active on NS and IRC when I was 13 and 14. Good times.

I am now a sophomore at Phillips Exeter, a boarding school in New Hampshire. It's awesome albeit extremely difficult. When I find time to use them (not very often), my PHP skills are probably 100x better than they used to be. Now I'm actually putting them to use for making money with a lot of "SEO" stuff. It's mostly the type of thing a lot of people would disapprove of. Blackhat, video splogs, lots of automated stuff. I'm currently working a lot with video. Over the summer I scraped a bunch of databases of content and sold those. That was a good moneymaker and still brings in some cash. Last year I spent a lot of time with proxies and made a few grand there, but now I'm focusing on tasks that are more coding oriented.

I can be found at wickedfire.com and on freenode #wickedfire, #bluehatseo, and a few others.

I joined over six years ago... when I was 14 (21 now).

I'm attending Bradley University, double majoring in Finance and Actuarial Science. Only program now when it brings in the $... I intern at an insurance company for quite a good hourly rate. I'm quite involved with my fraternity - Sigma Chi.

I work at Microsoft, and I've never been so anti-Microsoft in my life. I am officially a "UI/UX Designer" on the Office Live team, but in reality I get paid to sit on my *** 38 hours a week, with the remaining two hours occupied by actual work.

I had an interview with a company of 12 people last Monday, and will be hearing yea or nay in the next few days. Should be a big step up in terms of actual work.

I think I joined when I was 17, and I am 23 now.

i used to love graphic art back then. photoshop and web-design was what i really love. now, i've move on more into electronic music (dj-ing, not producing) and doing software programming. game programming is what i'm doing right now, and yes i didn't touch web technologies anymore since PHP5. lol.

I joined when I was.. I think 15. On February 11th, 2002.

I'm now 21, graduated from the Center for Arts and Technology in Kelowna, BC, Canada. I was working for Disney this past year as a moderator/support rep for this kids website, Club Penguin. I was there while they were bought by Disney and it was pretty sweet.

I quit though because things got dull and I wasn't able to get on the devepment team. I'm currently jobless, but things are looking good for a position as a Search Marketer. This would involve everything and anything to do with SEO/SEM.

Other than that, I've been trying to start up my business for private home sellers to list their houses online. Things are moving slow.. but they're moving. I don't even know if any of you will remember me! Hahaha...

I joined TF about 5 years ago, at the age of 15. I currently have a job as a mail carrier for a highway contract route, and despite the fact that I enjoy the job, it's certainly not anything I want for the long term. My career goal is digital art, with particular interests in 3D and digital painting. I'm a strong supporter of the Blender Foundation, with Blender being my primary 3D app. Photoshop remains my primary raster app, with Inkscape for most of my vector work. I'm avid in XHTML & CSS1,2,3, as well as PHP/SQL.

I'm still living with my parents, due to four years of bad health (radiation colitis from past cancer treatment, and possible crohns disease). I just underwent major surgery two weeks ago, which resulted in a colostomy, which hopefully will end the health struggle I've put up with for over four years. I'll be returning to work this Friday. Should my health continue to improve and I can continue working, I hope to be out on my own sometime this fall. I hope to eventually be able to step up the plate and pursue a career in digital art, but much of that depends on my health as well.
